President's Report

As we enter the New Year, we have made New Year's resolutions. A fair amount of these resolutions are career-oriented, such as getting a promotion, finding a new job, gaining more knowledge, pursuing certification, maintaining current certification(s), volunteering, and growing our professional network.

The APICS Pittsburgh Chapter is a resource to support your efforts toward these resolutions. We have a new schedule coming for the spring for Professional Development events that will include Plant Tours, Speakers on important issues in Supply Chain, and membership Social Events.

We will release our spring class schedule for instructor-lead certifications, and we are always open to customized classes for both Certified and Non-Certified content. We are also working on the ability to deliver classes online.

APICS is always looking to help manage the chapter through volunteer activities with the Pittsburgh Chapter.

We are here to support our members. Let us know how we can help you accomplish your New Year's resolutions at [email protected]

Sincerely,
Bill Geisler
President
APICS Pittsburgh Chapter

Membership Information

The APICS Pittsburgh Chapter began using a new website application provided by the national organization this year. This web application is updated every night for the Membership information in the ASCM database of APICS Members. Our new website requires Members to login in order to get Membership Discounts for our Professional Development Meetings and Education offerings.  We also had to change the email address we use to send you information.  Please add [email protected] to your contact list for the APICS Pittsburgh Chapter so our PDM Invitations and Newsletter get to your inbox.

But our new login requires your APICS ID or the email you submitted when you initially became a Member, or the last one you updated on the ASCM website, as the APICS Pittsburgh Chapter ID (ASCM.org).  You can update that email ON THE ASCM LOGIN SITE.

If you do not know what email is on file, you need to contact ASCM. If you know the email on file, then you can use the FORGOT USER NAME/PASSWORD link to get a new password. If your email is not on file, follow the instructions in the error message.

We have no control over the Membership information on file at ASCM. WE CANNOT ADD YOUR EMAIL TO THE MEMBERSHIP LIST, you will need to update the information on file at ASCM.
